Widespread power cuts across Europe have separated Ilay from his family. Now he is trying to find insulin in his devastated home country of Germany in order to save the life of his daughter, who is all he has left. During a fierce fight with two brothers, Ilay saves the life of the young doctor Loana, who now helps him. Although Loana is not alone in this apocalyptic world, Ilay takes her with him, because only with her help can his daughter survive.
