Band leaders Ekow Alabi Savage, Eric Owusu and Ben Abarbanel-Wolff will take us on a trip through the history of Highlife and Afrobeat music in West Africa.
Featuring members of the bands of Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas, Orlando Julius, Tony Allen and more.
Since 1975, the Quasimodo has been one of the oldest clubs in Berlin's cultural landscape and one of the most renowned live music venues in Europe. The initially jazz basement, in the truest sense of the word, became the musical home for many international artists of the most diverse genres. Under the Delphi-Filmpalast in the heart of Berlin, this musical cult club developed into a popular venue for jazz, blues, rock, latin, soul and funk concerts and music with quality.
