Mein Vater, mein Sohn und der Kilimandscharo
It is the story of father and son fighting their way through the wild of Eastafrica accompanied by the Massai- Nomads, following their ambitious and challenging dream to climb the top of the Kilimanjaro. 30 years ago father Achill wanted to experience this adventure with his father, after he travelled 28 deserts by foot and camels. Then he got injured and his father left by himself, taping his whole journey on a cassette. 30 years later Achill and his son Aaron start the same journey to Tanzania. Following the fathers and grandfathers tracks, they experience the beautiful wildlife of the Serengeti and breathtaking landscapes, facing their final challenge: the Kilimanjaro with its 6000 meters height. But again a injury makes the path up hard and dangerous and lets father and son question their ambitious dream to reach the top of the Kilimanjaro.
