As part of the FEMMELY AFFAIR's talk formats, United We Stream presents an interview between Katharin Ahrend from United We Stream and Lewamm Ghebremariam from BRENN collective and Change.org. They talk about women's solidarity, sisterhood, moments that can hold us back from supporting each other, and how we can make space for each other in the context of club culture, activism, and cultural management. Katharin has been part of the United We Stream team from the very beginning. Her main activities there include the development of awareness and safety guidelines for the project and the platform as well as diversity-sensitive and inclusive program work. The aim is always to create spaces and platforms that promote exchange and dismantling of borders and prejudices. Lewamm “Lu” Ghebremariam is a Senior Campaign Strategist for the petition platform Change.org Germany. Since 2018, she has been supporting and advising activists with her marketing and strategy expertise making national and international headlines. Lewamm is an honorary board member of the Berlin Clubcommission. Focusing on awareness, a low-discriminatory, diverse and sustainable club culture.
