Jacob arrived in Italy alone from French Guinea when he was 11 years old. Today he is 27 and hip hop music is his life. It is his way to express his dreams, hopes and frustrations - and a means to escape the "ghetto". He lives on the outskirts of Turin. By day he writes songs and makes music with other young migrants who make up the music group "Ghetto PSA". At night, he works as an teacher in a centre for asylum seekers. This "double life" leads him to reflect on his own identity as a young Italian who speaks three languages but doesn’t forget who he is and where he comes from.
